Northern Liglhts

Kenny Taylor is a Highland-based writer, musician and broadcaster who is passionate about natural history but who also is obsessive about auroras. He's travelled from Alaska to Scandinavia to seek them, but enjoys a huge northern view from his highland garden, which boosts the chances of dancing sky appreciation at home. In this edition of Twenty Minutes broadcast during the second interval in the recent Prom given by the London Philharmonic Orchestra we spend an evening with Kenny, sitting outside, watching the night sky as he contemplates the science, myth and magic of the Northern Lights.
