Ernest Bloch Legacy Project

clipped from www.youtube.com
The Ernest Bloch Legacy Project is devoted to preserving the legacy of composer, humanist, and philosopher, Ernest Bloch. Ernest Bloch lived in Agate Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean, now a part of Newport, Oregon. During the period he lived in Agate Beach, Bloch entered the final and most productive period of his life: during which he composed more than a third of his entire output -- a large piano concerto, four more string quartets, three more symphonies, and a variety of other works, large and small.
