Are you a neat freak?

If so then Mailwash is for you. Once you have opened Mailwash you can Bookmark it.

MailWash uses the built-in capabilities of your web browser to make a working application that sits in a small (less than 4KB) web page that you can save to your computer.

Use MailWash to quickly remove unsightly >'s, like in this email:

and get clean text like this:

THE SMELL OF RAIN

A cold March wind danced around the dead of night in Dallas as the Doctor
walked into the small hospital room of Diana Blessing. Still groggy from
surgery, her husband David held her hand as they braced themselves for the
latest news.

MailWash can also be used to quickly remove forced line breaks from text copied from web pages or previously sent email messages.

Requirements:

  • Your browser needs to be .... Internet Explorer 4 or higher or an equivalent [Firefox], and you must have JavaScript enabled.
  • You need to know how to select text and copy & paste.

Another "neat" trick:

Try TINY URL.
